The Power of Referrals: Returning to Our Roots with Market Makers

Beyond the science of how it’s served, the real difference comes from the close relationship between the two companies that makes the end product better for the customer. As my 13-year-old son said, “It’s because of their friendship.” In the same way, isolved’s close partnership with brokers means the clients they introduce to us get a world-class experience too. Strong relationships on the back end translate into stronger results on the front end, for brokers and their clients.
Next year isolved will celebrate its 40th anniversary. Our story began when the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) was signed into law, and from the beginning we worked alongside brokers who trusted us to serve their clients. That trust has always been the foundation of our strong broker relationships. As we prepare to celebrate our milestone anniversary, we’re evolving alongside our partners and strengthening the ways we collaborate with brokers to meet today’s challenges and tomorrow’s opportunities.
Why Relationships Matter
Today, advisors and brokers are under mounting pressure. Clients are asking for help with rising healthcare costs, compliance challenges and competitive benefits. Top-performing partners gain access to a VIP Council, offering direct collaboration with executive leadership to shape joint initiatives and future opportunities.
Market Makers also benefit from PartnerHub campaigns, co-marketing enablement and exclusive networking experiences that bring together brokers, clients and industry influencers—such as our premier offsite experience during Monday Night Football at HR Tech.
We’re also working on dedicated resources for brokers, to provide better guidance and faster support. These resources, along with our established broker community where peers can connect and share insights, strengthen the foundation we’ve already built with brokers while delivering the best possible experience to their clients. Like Coca-Cola and McDonald’s, the stronger our collaboration with brokers behind the scenes, the better the experience is for clients in every interaction. Together, we’re not just sharing leads—we’re shaping the market.
Building on a Legacy of Trust
Market Makers is not a departure from our history. It is a continuation of it. For decades we have grown through referrals. Now we are investing to make those partnerships stronger and more impactful.
We are also announcing our new Broker Advisory Board for practice/tech leads. This executive board will give brokers a direct line into isolved’s strategy, access to early insights on our research and solutions, and a forum to shape how we serve mutual clients. The benefits for practice leads include stronger influence in the direction of our offerings, executive access for collaboration and opportunities to represent the voice of the broker community at the highest levels.
