New in the isolved Connector for Claude: Time Card Self-Service

Posted: 09/29/26

Discover how better employee time tracking puts answers in employees' hands. Check punches, preview pay and clear alerts without an HR interruption.

It's late Thursday afternoon. One of your employees is staring at their time card, mentally retracing last week's dentist appointment. Did they clock out before leaving, or not? They think so. Probably. But they're not sure enough to act on it, and not sure enough to let it go, either...

So, they do what most people do: they sit on it. And by Friday, that small moment of uncertainty has turned into an HR interruption.

The truth is that most of what employees need from their time card is pretty straightforward. Did that punch go through? Am I clocked in right now? Is my paycheck going to look the way I expect it to? These aren't emergencies; they're everyday questions that pile up quietly because tracking down the answer feels like more work than the question is worth.

Our goal at isolved is to make everyday HR interactions smoother and simpler, for employees, HR professionals and the organization. The isolved Connector for Claude, the same connector your employees already use for time off and pay, just got more powerful. We’ve introduced a whole set of new time card capabilities, all built around the questions employees actually ask. Best of all, there’s no new app to download or new login to find.

Their Time Card, in Plain Language

Employees can now pull their current pay period time card directly from Claude — and get real answers to the questions they'd normally bring to you.

"Am I clocked in right now?"
They can see their current punch status, when they last clocked in, and what role or job they punched under. No guessing, no asking around.

"What do my hours look like so far?"
A quick status check surfaces total hours by earning type, as well as any overtime, open alerts, adjustments and whether their time card has been verified. Employees have everything they need to feel confident heading into payday.

"What did I do on Tuesday?"
Day-level detail is easily accessible, including hours worked, any holiday or absence context and the role or job tied to each punch.

"Am I even allowed to fix this?"
Employees can check their self-service permissions, punch modes and what adjustments they're allowed to make before reaching out for help.

It's the same information they'd normally ask HR to walk them through. Now they can find it on their own, catch the forgotten punch on Thursday, and move on before it becomes a Friday problem.

From Hours to Take-Home: Know Before You Get Paid

A paycheck isn't just a number. It's rent, groceries and new tires before winter hits. The question underneath every time card is almost always the same one: what am I actually taking home? With new capabilities, employees can now get an estimated paycheck for the current period: a real-time projection of earnings, deductions, taxes and net pay based on the hours they've logged so far. And as their time card updates throughout the pay period, the estimate updates right along with it. No more waiting until payday and hoping the numbers work out. Just a clear, running answer to the question that matters most, early enough to actually do something about it.

When Something Needs Fixing, Employees Can Fix It

Spotting an error or a missing reimbursement is only half the job. The other half is actually fixing it. Now employees can do both, right through the isolved Connector for Claude.

  • Clear a time card alert
Claude surfaces the details, lets them mark it Reviewed or Excused, add a note if they want and confirm before anything is submitted.

  • Log an adjustment
Whether it's mileage or another reimbursement your team has configured in isolved, Claude shows them exactly what's available and walks them through submitting it in just a few steps.

Most importantly, before anything is saved, Claude always asks for confirmation. No accidental changes, no second-guessing. The flag they used to forward to HR? They clear it themselves. The mileage that used to be an email chain? They just log it and move on.

Less Chasing, More Time

The result is more time back for everyone. Checking a punch, reading the rules, previewing a check, clearing a flag and logging an adjustment. These are questions employees can now answer in seconds, not searches that turn into messages to HR.

That's one less thing landing on HR’s desk. Multiply that across a workforce and it adds up fast. Employees who feel in control of their own hours, and Thursday afternoons that stay yours.
