AI and Adaptability Position isolved as a Leader in Nucleus Research HCM Value Matrix

Posted: 03/18/25

More than half of human resources (HR) leaders are planning to switch their human capital management (HCM) technology this year. What are they looking for? Technology with a better user experience, a platform that can scale and a vendor that invests in artificial intelligence (AI).

Nucleus Research, a leading independent analyst firm, named isolved a leader for the second consecutive year in its HCM Value Matrix for Small-and Medium-Sized Businesses. The firm’s report evaluates HCM vendors to equip HR decision-makers with the information they need to guide their final purchasing decisions.

isolved improved on its 2024 ranking, earning second overall placement in functionality. In its report, Nucleus Research notes that isolved provides midsized and smaller organizations with access to enterprise-grade functionality, as shown through automation, predictive analytics and modeling capabilities throughout the isolved People Cloud™ platform.

Nucleus Research’s report recognized isolved’s continued embrace of actionable artificial intelligence (AI). Specifically, the firm mentions isolved’s Generative AI-powered Job Ad Writer, which crafts engaging job descriptions by leveraging AI and recruiter input. isolved also puts AI to work through its Always-On HR, which provides employees with an interactive chat experience that helps them obtain basic information—saving HR teams and leaders valuable time on manual tasks.

The Value Matrix further highlights isolved’s adaptability through its ability to meet customer needs. If an organization’s HR function matures or its needs to evolve, isolved is uniquely positioned to modify its platform to ensure its customers will be successful. Not only that, but isolved places a premium on customer feedback—in 2024 alone, the company launched 480 product enhancements stemming directly from customer suggestions.

The report calls out several recent updates and announcements, including:

  • isolved’s new Candidate Match tool that uses AI to score candidates for open positions to accelerate the hiring process.

  • New talent acquisition services for customers, including recruitment process outsourcing (RPO), job placement services and full-service hiring for quick service restaurants (QSRs).

  • An expanded content library, providing customers with over 95,000 courses for training, compliance and upskilling.

  • A next-generation time clock, featuring facial recognition technology and remote viewing capabilities.
