According to Lacey Davidson, Human Resources Manager at JumBurrito, “We processed payroll and benefits in house for years. Davidson says, “The self-service portal lets employees see all we have to offer, and they can see our matching contributions. The Year End summaries allow them to also see other benefits like free employee meals, employer paid taxes and 401(k) contribution.”
Making a Difference in Employees’ Lives
Seeing how isolved was able to make a difference in one employee’s life was important. One of their long-term employees had been contributing to their 401(k) for years. They didn’t have access to a computer at home and because their previous provider didn’t send out quarterly summaries by mail, they were unable to access their account or see their balance.
